More than twenty years ago, the late William "Dick" Price thought that a Homecoming Golf Tournament would be an excellent way of kicking off Homecoming and raising scholarship dollars for needy Norfolk State University students. Dick Price took his idea to the NSU Alumni Association and they agreed to partner with him in this endeavor. Over the years, approximately $190,000 has been raised to support student scholarships at Norfolk State University.
